Tournament time for Cumberland Bassmasters. Met my partner, Scott Jordan at Long Hunter ramp and prepared to fish the tourney. it was a frosty morning with temps around 35 degrees. We headed down lake on a chilly run and fished a stumpy islands with little to show. I finally caught a short fish on a lizard.

Scott had a couple of spots to try near Hamilton Creek but still no luck. Fished Chigger point and a flat in Smith Springs but same result.  Fished the creek near the bridge on the south side and we finally picked up a couple of keepers. Moved to creek on the north side near the bridge. Scott picked up a keeper. We then moved up lake to an island and I caught my final keeper.

I had 3 keepers for 4+ pounds, Scott had 1 keeper. All of our fish were caught on lizards. Rob won the boater's side with 12+ pounds including a 5 lber. Omar won the non-boater division with 9+ pounds.

Jack and I are leaving shortly for Guntersville lake for a couple of days of fishing.
